COVID-19 update Dapto Mall

Dapto Mall is closely monitoring COVID-19 and the advice of state and national health authorities in relation to infectious diseases. 

Dapto Mall has remained open throughout this period to provide essential services to the community and the health and safety of everyone who visits the centre remains our priority. 

Update Wednesday 27 January 2021

The NSW Government have announced that masks will be encouraged but no longer compulsory in retail venues as of Friday, 29 January 2021. Masks will remain compulsory for front-of-house hospitality staff, hairdressers and beauticians. Our cafes, restaurants and Food Court will still have limited capacity as the 1 person per 4sqm rule remains in place.
Despite the easing of restrictions, we continue to remain diligent in our cleaning processes with a focus on key areas such as hard surfaces and bathrooms. Hand sanitisers also remain in place at all entrances for customers and retailers to utilise.

Face Masks - Update Saturday 2nd January 2021

In line with direction from the NSW Government, you must always wear a face mask that covers your mouth and nose whilst inside the shopping centre. This applies to all visitors over the age of 12 years old. 
The health and safety of everyone visiting and working at our centres is our primary focus, as we continue to create a safe and welcoming experience. 

We will continue to support our community, customers and retailers whilst we collectively navigate through this difficult time. We encourage everyone to stay safe and support each other.

We are working hard to ensure a visit to Dapto Mall remains a safe and welcoming experience. We have remained diligent in our cleaning processes and through our service providers, we have placed additional focus on key areas such as hard surfaces, food courts and bathrooms and all AMP Capital managed assets have facilities in place to support our customers and tenants to practise good hygiene, such as hand sanitisers. We’ve also increased signage and security to ensure physical distancing and other government measures continue to be observed by everyone.   
Our stores have signs at entry points to instruct customers not to enter if they are unwell or have COVID19 symptoms. Each business has the right to refuse service and must insist that anyone with these symptoms leaves the premises. Where practically possible, retailers have set up separate exit and entry points to minimise contact. 
The NSW Government recently announced updates to managing contact tracing and have introduced mandatory digital check in requirements for some businesses from Monday 23rd November. The mandatory digital check in registrations will help keep NSW communities COVID Safe. For customers entering venues without a mobile phone, venues are asked to record their details and time of entry on another device. Venues must manually collect contact details in instances where electronic forms can not be accessed, including during internet outages. We appreciate your cooperation when visiting retailers who require you to check-in. 

The food court is open, with tables 1.5 metres apart and physical distancing practises still apply. 

We can all help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Australia. To protect others and when visiting the centre you must: 

  • practise good hygiene 

  • stay home if you are unwell 

  • wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet 

  • cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser 

We will continue to monitor this issue and if there is any change in advice, we will notify our valued retailers and customers as appropriate.
