Halloween At Home

Although this Halloween may be different from other years, there are still lots of ways to be creative and have some Halloween fun at home.

Use our 3 ideas below to make Halloween 2020 your funnest (and scariest) Halloween yet!

1. DECORATE
Although you might decorate every year, use this year to push yourself a little further. Try spiderwebs in trees, pretend bones in the garden, gravestones, and don't forget the carved pumpkins. Big W even have a range of fake blood glass cling-ons  that will really spook the neighbours!

2. DRESS-UP
We know kids LOVE to dress-up but why not family theme Halloween this year? Some great ideas include The Addams Family, Harry Potter, The Incredibles or try dressing up as a family of Zombies. And don't forget your pooch! Lowes have the cutest Halloween doggie jackets for the fur-baby in your family.

3. TRICK OR TREAT?
It's easy to put out a bowl of lollies, but there are lots and lots of fun "tricks" to play. A favourite is the protected candy bowl. This year Big W have an amazing scary Animated Clown candy bowl that pounces on your hand the minute it goes near those lollies!  Another is adding gummy worms to ice cubes and pranking a family members drink. Or how about a spooky food challenge? Peeled grapes for eye balls, tinned spaghetti for brains, slivered almonds for witches fingernails... get creative, use a blidfold and have some fun!
