Quiet Hour

Quiet Hour is an ongoing initiative to support accessibility and inclusion of all customers. 

It offers a quieter and less stressful environment for customers with low sensory needs such as adults and children living with a disability.

DATES: Every Monday-Friday

TIME: 10.30am-11.30am daily

DAPTO MALL COMMON AREAS INCLUDING THE FOOD COURT:

• In Centre music will be turned down to the lowest level
• No general PA announcements will be made (emergency announcements and alert tones will operate as normal in the case of an emergency)

INSIDE WOOLWORTHS:

• Bakery oven and chicken cooker buzzers are turned off
• Reduced volume on store phones and registers
• Reduced volume of in store music
• Removal of roll cages from the shop floor
• Stopping all PA Announcements (excluding cases of emergencies)

INSIDE COLES:

• Coles radio may be turned down
• Register and scanner volumes may be reduced to the lowest level
• No PA announcements will be made except in the case of emergencies
• Additional team members may be available to support customers
